At choir I was scared because this was my first time. When we got in I was so nervous and I had goosebumps and then we started to sing and sing. My legs were so tired and I was sleepy. When we finished sing It we all went to a room and then we finished and we all clapped. Then we finished and we all went to the bus back to school.

This is my story about Basketball.
basketball
At basketball we were learning how to dribble and how to bounce the ball. And we learned how to bounce the ball between our legs and at the back of our body. And then we played a game at the end. When I threw the ball it went inside the hoop and I have been on a team that has never lost. The best part was when I got the ball in the hoop and we just won. And we took photo’s at the end.

CROSS COUNTRY
On the best day, it was hard because it was cross country and I was not happy because I was not fit. When the little kids finished, it was the year- 5's, turn I was so so nervous that I was going to come last.
When miss Tipama’a said go, I was so so so scared. I was so so scared that Faiupu will beat me but then I ran faster.
When I was nearly there, I started to run faster and faster and then people were screaming.
After that I came in 5th place and was so so happy because I am fat and I came 5th, and then everyone went back to class and I was happy that it was over!...

My speech about poverty.
Poverty, Poverty, Poverty! Why should I even talk about Poverty? More less to say...What is Poverty? Who can help us? Does Poverty affect you and me?
Do you hear your parents say “sorry son we don’t have enough food” or “sorry son we don’t have enough money” well I do, that is POVERTY.
What is Poverty?
Poverty can mean not having enough money for basic needs like food, clothing and shelter. Poverty is also hunger, not enough food to feed our families and children, sometimes that’s why children don’t come to school because they have no lunch.
Poverty is not having a home to live in, that is why we see people living on the streets (homeless). Poverty is being sick and you can’t see a doctor because you don’t have enough money.
Why is Poverty important?
Poverty is important for all of us to understand and be aware of so we can help each other in times of struggle, but its also about caring and giving to those who need the help and are living in poverty.
Did you know that one in four New Zealand children, that’s 260,000 kiwi kids live in poverty, that’s going without the basic needs like I mentioned earlier.
Who can you call? Who can help us?
Kidscan, Salvation Army and Poverty Action Group just to name a few organisations are where we can get help.
Did you know that Kidscan which you hear a lot about has been helping you, me and May Road School with raincoats and shoes to keep us dry and warm during winter and raining days.
Conclusion
Poverty should not be ignored or for you and me to turn a blind eye, like its not happening in our country, but involves everyone including the government, you and me poverty in New Zealand.
Thank you to Kidscan for supporting our school and providing the basic needs for us kids.
Let’s come together to support and fundraise for Kidscan, and help a child that is living in poverty.
Come on lets go!!!!!!
This is my speech about poverty.

The Storm
The long night of the storm
In June 2014 there was a big! hit! on my door. I was in lala land that I could hear no sounds but then I could hear a scary sound that was banging my door and my window. And then my sister said “ I’m going to sleep with Mum” but then I was ignored by the biggest storm of my live . When I went to sleep I woke joining my coolest dream and went to the toilet and I could hear a big bang on the window. And then I went to my nana’s room and looked outside and It was “terrifying FLOOD! next to the door. When I work up the tree was cut down and rocks fall down next to It and then I went to school terrifying.

My Writing Of My Favourite Person!!!
Writing sample term 2 2014 28 may.
My Favourite person. When my Mum goes to a dinner she always look like a flower rising up.
And her hair is long and black. She is big, pregnant and amazing and she is my favourite person and when I am still sleeping she comes and wakes me up.
When I am sick she takes me to her work and tells me to go sit down and I will go and buy you KFC or Mcdonalds. And when it’s Saturday she takes me to my rugby game and when I get there she makes me not afraid and tells me" Don’t be afraid just play hard”.
And when my games finish she says
“ well done son” and
when I get home my Mum says “go and read the bible and then you can go shower and go sleep. And when I go to sleep my Mum get’s a big blanket and covers me with it.
This is my writing sample I did and it is all about my favourite beloved mom!!! I love you mum!!!!

Blogs
Blue hat thinking
ROOM 15 !!!!! and ROOM 14!!!!!! are digital classrooms. We have chromebooks to learn with and use instead of writing on a book.
Red hat thinking
I feel proud about my blog because
my family and friends can see my blog
and can comment and it makes me happy and proud.
Sometimes blogs have lots of cool stuff
and you can see your friends blog too.
And the fun part is you can post a drawing onto your blog and cool stuff on it too. And that’s how you can have lots of people on your blog.
Green hat thanking
You can get new idea from other peoples
blog. And you can put photo’s and clips
on your blog, And you can put private stuff too. And you could comment to other people on your blog and we can use
our blogs like a time capital.
Yellow hat thinking
The good thing about our blogs is that our parents and families can see your blog.
And the good point about your blog’s is that you can share with other people. And it’s good that you can write about something then you can put It on your blog
Black hat thinking
Do not give away private stuff and do not say where you live or your last name .
